PoltextLAB has been the beneficiary of the Research Development Grant of ECPR in 2023. With the help of the grant, we have organised the international workshop “Studying Central-Eastern European Politics in the Age of AI” in Budapest at the Centre for Social Sciences.

On November 23rd and 24th, poltextLAB organized a data presentation workshop focused on Central-Eastern European Politics and machine learning. During the 2-day event, 12 papers were presented from the fields of media, law, policy and parliamentary politics. This year’s PSA Parliaments Annual Conference was held at the London School of Economic and Political Science on 2-3 November 2023. Miklós Sebők presented co-authored work with Rebeka Kiss on “The (worst) laws of the land: The concept of legislative basket cases in Central-Eastern Europe”.
