14 November, 2024 – Workshop program and registration available: 2nd Budapest Methods Workshop

The 2nd Budapest Methods Workshop on Large Language Models and Generative AI: Social Science Applications and Legal Aspects takes place on November 21-22, 2024 at the HUN-REN Centre for Social Sciences in Budapest. Registration will open at 10:00 AM on November 21, in the lobby, where participants can collect workshop materials. Following registration, PhD students will have the opportunity to join tutorials with the poltextLAB research team. The program is available here. Registration is required via the following link.

5 November, 2024 – Miklós Sebők presents at the Festival of Hungarian Science

On 5 November 2024, Miklós Sebők participated as an invited speaker at the Festival of Hungarian Science organised by the Hungarian Academy of Sciences (MTA). The event was titled Science and Parliament: the Social Impact of Artificial Intelligence. Among other researchers from HUN-REN Centre for Social Sciences, Miklós Sebők commented the paper “AI Strategy ’24’08 – Opportunities and Threats” by Professor György Cserey, Dean of the Faculty of Information Technology and Bionics at Pázmány Péter Catholic University.
